Cryptoprocessing | Bridging Crypto and Compliance: CryptoProcessing at ACAMS Baltics

As regulatory expectations around digital assets continue to evolve, the focus has shifted toward the scope, depth, and practical implementation of regulation within the global financial system.

At the ACAMS Baltics Conference in Estonia, CryptoProcessing joined industry leaders, regulators, and compliance professionals to contribute to this critical dialogue.

Representing the company, Svetlana Prussova, Management Board Member at CryptoProcessing, shared insights on how crypto payment infrastructure can align with modern compliance requirements while remaining scalable and efficient for businesses.

The Baltics region has established itself as one of Europe’s most progressive fintech hubs, where innovation and regulation continue to develop side by side. This made ACAMS Baltics an important platform for addressing real-world challenges in anti-money laundering (AML), risk management, and transaction monitoring.

Panel Discussion Highlights

As part of the panel “Rein It In: MiCA and the Crypto Compliance Overhaul,” the discussion focused on key challenges facing the industry, including differences in supervisory approaches across Baltic jurisdictions, the growing expectations around governance and transparency, and the need to translate regulatory requirements into effective operational processes.

From Frameworks to Real-World Implementation

A key theme across the session was clear: compliance is no longer a supporting function, but a core element of sustainable crypto infrastructure.

Today, the key challenge for crypto businesses is not defining compliance frameworks, but making them work in practice.
We are seeing a clear shift toward embedding compliance into every layer of operations – from onboarding and transaction monitoring to governance and decision-making. This is what will ultimately define which companies are able to scale sustainably.

At CryptoProcessing, we see this shift as a defining moment for the industry. Scalable crypto payments will only be possible if they are built on compliant, transparent, and audit-ready infrastructure.

By participating in ACAMS Baltics, we aim to contribute to a more mature, regulated, and trusted crypto ecosystem – one where innovation and compliance move forward together.
